Des Arc School District

Mrs. Janice McFarlin was awarded as the Des Arc High School Educator of the Year at the Des Arc High School Academic Banquet that was held on Thursday April 20, 2023. The Des Arc High School Educator of the Year Award recognizes and celebrates an educator for outstanding accomplishments and commitment to education and betterment of the students within our district. Student Council President Hayden Childers presented the award to Mrs. McFarlin. Mrs. Mac is a 1974 graduate of Des Arc High School. She  has a degree in Literacy and Foreign Language, and a Masters Degree from Harding University. She has taught at Des Arc High School for 37 years and has been in education for 42 years. Mrs. McFarlin truly embodies what it means to be a Des Arc Eagle. Congratulations Mrs. Mac, your DAHS family is very thankful for you!
